Sinclair selected PRE Technologies for FEA assessment of their new reactor vessel

Starting June 5, 2014 PRE Technologies and Sinclair agreed on a collaboration on the design of a reactor vessel system for chemicals production applications. The job specification included a full thermo-mechanical fatigue assessment of the equipment under the relevant industry standards, i.e. PD-5500.

Full FEA thermal and mechanical coupled models for fatigue assessment under a variety of loads will be done in order to obtain the vessel’s useful life aiming to achieve 20 years.
