CALTEC selected PRE Technologies for FEA assessment of their new flange

Starting March 5, 2014 PRE Technologies and CALTEC agreed on a collaboration on the design of a new flange/pipe system for oil & gas applications. The job specification included a full assessment of the equipment under the relevant industry standards, i.e. ASME VIII Div2.

Full FEA plastic collapse assessment under a variety of loads will be done in order to obtain Von Mises stress results as well as the stress tensor on selected stress classification lines (SCL).

Caltec is a world leader in Surface Jet Pump (SJP) and compact separation systems for improving oil and gas production. Caltec has a long proven track record in adding value to projects for major IOC and NOC clients worldwide, including prevention of HP/LP backout, deliquification of gas wells, and using compressor recycle energy to boost production.
